Don't let the name full you, it was actually good, even my mom said so and she is very opinionated when it comes to food cause she knows how to cook. Now if you want you can take this and switch out a few things and do chicken breast, beef, shrimp, etc if you don't want the gizzards. So I didn't know what to make with them when I pulled them out of the freezer but I was like might as well make stew. So what you'll need is...
chicken gizzard (chicken breast, beef, shrimp, scallops etc)
carrots
pears
onions (optional, I didn't want them after using so next time I won't)
celery
potatoes
flour
chicken stock (beef stock)
large pot for everything to be mixed in
boiling pot for potatoes
baking pan
seasoning salt
garlic powder
accent
black pepper
olive oil
First you are going to clean your meat whatever it might be. Season it and but aluminum foil in the baking pan, put your meat inside coat lightly with olive oil and cover with another piece of foil and let it cook on 350 until cooked completely, make sure you are checking it so it doesn't burn.
cut up your potatoes to however big you want and put them in water and let them boil for about five minutes then turn the eye off and let them stand as you do everything else.
Cut up all your veggies taking your largest pot dump them in and your stock and let them simmer for about ten minutes. Once your meat is done, dump into the veggie pot and then drain your potatoes and put them in as well. Now you want to add more seasoning until you like the taste. To get the stew part, you have to add flour to the mix you it becomes thick. and let it stand and for about another ten minutes, check on it though and tastes it as you go along, make sure your carrots aren't hard and when they aren't you are ready to serve.
It may look gross but I promise its really good and hearty too, also this is when it was cold, dumb me forgot to take a pic when I first made it. I need to get better at that lol.
